I always loved Quan from the moment I got him. He was more than a pet, he was my best friend. I'm glad that he died peacefully in his sleep, all snuggled up.

Precious Love

The agony is so great...
and yet I will stand it.
Had I not loved so very much...
I would not hurt so much.
But God knows I would not want to diminish
that precious love...
By one fraction of an ounce.
I will hurt...
And I will be grateful for that hurt
For it bears witness to the depth of my love.
And for that I will be eternally grateful.

quandango - the best friend a boy could wish for

Hello Bob and Quan,

Quan was the most Quantastic hamster anyone could wish for, he had a personaality all of his own, his ability to escape and survive was quite amazing, we always knew he was a fighter.
He never bit, he loved apples and swung from his bars like a pro. He was fearless, fun and full of beans - but only in darkness hours. He was more of a nighttime hamster. It was a privilege to look after him whilst you were on holiday little mel, and we will always remember the bond we formed with him at this time. Sam is very sad he didn't get to spend much time with him.

we love you quan, gone but never ever forgotten

love chelsea, mark and samuel xxx

Beyond the Rainbow
As much as I loved the life we had and all the times we played,
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade.
I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free
Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.

I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side
Were meadows rich and beautiful -- lush and green and wide!
And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see
Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be!
My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new
And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do.

I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I'm alright
That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright Glow pierced the night.
'Twas the Glow of many Candles shining bright and strong and bold
And I knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold.

For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no eye can see.
So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart
If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart.
